Summary of lesson March 20th.

This is a short summary from the last English lesson.

The new topic was introduced, and the students were informed on the materials, focus points, the blog and the goals for the topic.
The then students worked with picture analysis in groups, where they analysed the photo above. Finally, we talked about their findings in class. One of the interesting things we discussed was whether you can see that this picture was from a high school shooting crime scene, as some thought that it could just as well have been from a fire site.

In the beginning..

Dear Students,

In the beginning there was nothing, but then there was the word, and it was good!

This will be your class blog, and the first thing we will use it for is our new topic 'Crime and Punishment'. Here you will present a criminal's case and punishment, and you will evaluate whether the punishment fit the crime. Also you will review a film, and perhaps you will find other uses for it...
