After
the situation there were a lot a talk about the gun control laws in USA. Many
people meant that it was too easy to have weapons. Other said that it was the
violent movies and video games fault.
The punishment:
The
two boys did not get any punishment, because they committed suicide after the
shootings. But I think that it is such a big case in the history and it had
hurt a lot of people. I do not think the two boys would be apple to be in a
prison, because they need help from professionals, and after that they have to
be supervised the rest of there live, because I think boys like them are so unbalanced.
It is a really horrible case! Think about all the students? I think they are mentally broken after the massacre, think about their friends? Perhaps some of the students who had been in close contact or participating in the same classes as the shooters get a feeling of guilt? Maybe they could have made a difference? I think the same as you Julie about the punishment! ;-)
SvarSletIt's a terrible thing to your fellow students, and the two boys must definitely have some kind of mental problems. The shooting was probably not spontaneously, but planned and it shows what twisted minds these two had.
SvarSletAnd i agree with yout punishment. They shouldn't be killed or be put in jail along with other criminals, but need help mentally from pros.
Good case, Julie :)
Good job, Julie. You describe the case and reflect on a fair punishment.
